Our mission is simple: to meet and exceed the expectations of the families we serve. We believe our program is successful only when both children and their parents or guardians feel supported, engaged, and confident in the care and education we provide.
Our History
Founded in 1994, First Plymouth Learning Center began as a small, local program serving children ages 15 months to 6 years. Over the years, we have grown into a fully licensed early childhood center, proudly serving children from infancy through pre-kindergarten.

Our Curriculum
At First Plymouth Learning Center, we implement a play-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum using Teaching Strategies Creative Curriculum to nurture each child’s natural curiosity and support their individual learning journey. Our immersive, hands-on activities are thoughtfully tailored to each age group, encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and joyful discovery every day.We are proud to celebrate diversity, ideas, and cultures within our program—embracing every child and family as a valued and essential part of our community.
Our Community
First Plymouth Learning Center is proud to be located in the heart of the Cherry Hills Village community, with convenient access to much of the Denver Metro Area. We operate on a calendar aligned with the Cherry Creek School District, making our schedule ideal for families with older children attending CCSD schools.We also value strong community partnerships and actively collaborate with local organizations and services, including nearby dentist offices, libraries, elementary schools, the Cherry Hills Village Police Department, and the local fire station. These connections help enrich our program and foster a sense of community for the children and families we serve.
What Makes Us Different than Other Centers?
At First Plymouth, we are deeply committed to supporting both our teachers and families by maintaining classroom ratios that are lower than state regulations. These intentionally smaller group sizes allow our teachers to build stronger, more meaningful connections with each child, ultimately enhancing the quality of care and education we provide. We also prioritize staffing our center with additional team members whenever possible. This helps us minimize the need to combine classrooms and reduces the stress placed on teachers when children are frequently moved between rooms. Our goal is to create a stable, nurturing environment where both children and staff can thrive.

Their academic program is fun while also getting the kids prepared for any school they attend next. Our only wish would be that they go beyond Pre-K as we will truly miss our time here!
