Brave Bear Cubs
Infants: 6 weeks-12 months
For many of our Bear Cubs, this is their very first experience with school and time away from home. In the Brave Bear Cubs classroom, we provide a loving, nurturing environment where your baby receives personalized attention and care to support their individual developmental journey. At this stage, every baby develops at their own pace, and our responsive teachers are here to meet your child where they are. Our daily schedule is centered around each baby’s unique needs—including feeding, diapering, sleep, and play—while gently introducing structure and routine. To support language development, we talk, sing, and read to the children throughout the day, helping them become familiar with the sounds and rhythms of speech. For early math and motor skills, we count blocks while stacking them, shake rattles, and practice reaching and grasping. To encourage creativity and sensory exploration, we offer age-appropriate art activities like finger painting and using stamp pads for adorable hand and foot prints. Most importantly, we strive to build a secure attachment between your baby and their caregivers, laying the foundation for confidence, comfort, and future learning. In the Brave Bear Cubs, your child will be cared for, encouraged, and celebrated every step of the way.
Mrs. Kallie
Infant Nursery Supervisor
My name is Kallie, and I'm a loving, dedicated teacher with a true passion for supporting the growth and development of young children. I have been in early childhood for many years, and I have special education courses that specialize in infant and toddler care. When I'm not helping the little ones grow, I love to read, play at the park with my own two little girls, and go on adventures! I am committed to the happiness and success of all your sweet babies, and I am so thrilled to be a part of the FPLC team!
Ms. Heaven
Early Childhood Teacher
Hello, I’m Heaven and I am a qualified early childhood lead teacher at First Plymouth Learning Center. I am the middle child of nine kids. I helped raise my youngest two siblings, and I also have been a nanny/babysitter for over 10 years. I realized how much I loved watching kids grow, as well as seeing how they think differently. I started working with kids when I was 12 and began working in a center when I graduated high school in 2016. I went to Front Range Community College to get my certificate in teaching. I am also CPR and First aid Certified. I also have been a nanny/babysitter for over 10 years. I love working at FPLC!
